PHCS offer a full comprehensive survey for the underside of your park home. Our surveyor will check the main chassis, siting & supports, base, restraints, floor bearers, skirting, drip rail & ventilation, insulation, plumbing and coach bolt fixings.

We then provide a survey report complete with photos of your home. This will detail everything the surveyor has looked at that day and will give advice on any work that may need to be carried out.

Our individual surveys are priced at £200.00 plus VAT. 

 We also offer a discounted rate of £160.00 plus VAT if we can carry out 3 or more surveys on the same site visit, so ask your friends and neighbours on your site and save money. 

Once the survey invoice is paid, if you go ahead with any works quoted, we will deduct the survey cost from the final invoice. 

We often come across leaks from plumbing under the home. If these leaks are minor our surveyors may be able to fix this for you at no extra charge.  If the leaks are more serious, we can provide you with a quote for an experienced, highly trained plumber to carry out any repairs.  

No. However, we do recommend you are present when your survey is completed. If you have any questions regarding your survey report these can be discussed with the surveyor whilst on site. Should you not be available then our surveyor will always be contactable by phone.

We advise that the sub-floor of a park home should always remain clear as otherwise this may be a fire risk.

Every home is different, so the time needed can vary. We usually allow an hour which includes the creation of the report.

As every home is different there is no specific number. We need to conduct a survey to be able to advise on this.

The products that we use for our SnuggerFLOOR+ are ACTIS Insulation Boost’R Hybrid, along with the Actis multi-adhesive tape. These products are innovative and highly effective when insulating a park home floor. We provide a 10 year guarantee for the SNUGGERfloor+ which can be upgraded to a 25 year insurance-backed guarantee.

When installing SNUGGERfloor+ we attach the insulation to the outer face of the wooden floor bearers using galvanised staples. We then tape the edges of the insulation with the specialised Actis multi-adhesive tape.  This creates a continuous layer of insulation to minimise thermal bridging within your property. 

Our surveys are invoiced when you have received your written report and payment becomes due at that time. Payment for works is due on receipt of our invoice and once works has been completed. All payments are collected on completion. You can pay via bank transfer or over the phone to our friendly office team, or send a cheque. This information can all be found on your invoice after completion of works. We do not request any deposits.

All of our works come complete with post installation photos and a 10-year guarantee. On receipt of payment you will receive post insulation photos and a 10 year guarantee. An extended 25 year insurance-based guarantee is available with any SNUGGERrange product, for an additional cost.

We work nationwide, covering all corners of the UK. No job is too far. 

We recommend you have a chassis check-up every three years to monitor the condition and extend the life of your home. 

We use a silicon render system which consists of EPS insulation boards, a base coat render, with a topcoat finish to a colour of your choice. This creates a highly attractive and energy efficient result.
